Silicon Valley veteran technologist with more than 15 years experience. Sean had an early start in technology and became a full-time software engineer during his sophomore year at the University of Santa Barbara.
He found his passion and continued attending school while developing the award-winning GoToMyPC product, a revolutionary web-based remote access technology which was later acquired by Citrix Online. After receiving his B.S. in Computer Science, he relocated to Los Angeles to become one of the ground floor engineers at Picasa, a software company specializing in photo management. After two years working on the application and developing the online experience, it was acquired by Google.
Sean was selected for the elite team that would advance to Google through the Picasa acquisition. Sean remained at Google for approximately 6.5 years where he was a technical lead for Google Photos. He improved the product through distributed server architecture, bleeding-edge website optimizations, and scalability across thousands of servers. Sean left Google to co-found Metrix Systems with Jacques Antikadjian, a full service web development agency for startups.
His vision is to empower the entrepreneur with enterprise level technology. Using the skills he mastered at Google, he created “Xano” – a patent pending web development platform that specializes in simple yet flexible system architecture. This technology along with Sean’s leadership allows Metrix Systems to provide a valuable, experienced, and highly competitive offering to its clients.
