Clear all records from the database

Step 1: Open the Spreadsheet Viewer

First, navigate to the database table you want to clear. In the top right corner, you'll see a menu icon - click on that.

Step 2: Select "Clear All Records"

From the dropdown menu, choose the "Clear All Records" option.

Step 3: Confirm the Clear Action

A pop-up window will appear, asking you to type "clear" to confirm the action. You'll also have the option to reset the primary ID (the unique identifier for each record) back to 1.

If you don't reset the primary ID, any new records you add will continue the existing numbering sequence. For example, if your last record had an ID of 8, the next record will be assigned ID 9.

Step 4: Start Fresh or Continue Sequence

Depending on your preference, you can either:

1. Start Fresh: Type "clear" and check the box to reset the primary ID back to 1. This will give you a clean slate for adding new records, with IDs starting from 1.
2. Continue Sequence: Type "clear" but leave the reset primary ID option unchecked. This will clear all existing records while preserving the numbering sequence for any new records you add.

Step 5: Verify the Clear Action

Once you hit "Confirm and Clear," all records in the table will be removed. If you chose to reset the primary ID, you can add a new record, and it will be assigned ID 1.

If you continued the sequence, any new records will pick up from the last assigned ID before the clear action.
